snow daze…

 

Well…I thought it was supposed to warm up today and begin melting this huge

amount of snow we have accumulated.  When I woke up this morning…it was

still snowing.  We are now in a bit of a “snow daze.”

I climbed up the back steps, the ones I could find anyway. to see how the chickens are

doing.  Let’s face it…I was checking to see if our chickens made it another cold night. 

When I walked up to the chicken coop it was quiet…too quiet.  But when I rattled the food

jar they came out of their “hiding” spot.  Whew!  All is well on the Stork home front.

It will be another day of children going in and out, cold hands and feet, hot coco and

snuggles in the big green chair.
